What is more incredible than our bags? What we do with our profits. Logan Sawyer donates 20% of our profits to help ocean conservation. The ocean is in trouble and we want to help. The projects that receive our donations are making colossal strides to save the ocean. Logan Sawyer promises to update our customers with pictures and videos to show you exactly how your purchases are helping our ocean.
Logan Sawyer is currently donating 10% of profits to Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium where they are making noble efforts to educate, conserve, and restore the ocean. Here are just a few of the many programs that are currently underway at Mote:
- Coral Restoration
- Sea Turtle Conservation
- Sharks and Rays Conservation and Research
- Dolphin, Whale, and Sea Turtle Hospital
- Manatee Research
- Dolphin Research
- Environmental Health Research
- And much more!
Logan Sawyer is also donating another 10% of profits to Project Hiu where Madison Stewart, otherwise known as “Shark Girl Madison”, and her team of shark conservationists are tackling one of the largest shark fisheries in Indonesia by providing local shark fisherman with alternative incomes in order to steer the community away from shark finning.
With love, passion, and creativity Project Hiu is making waves:
- Hiring shark fisherman to engage in tourism activities such as snorkeling and shark sight seeing
- Educating and working together with the community to move towards tourism and away from shark fishing
- Assist in the aid of developmental projects in the community such as waste management, boat refurbishment, and education programs
- Spreading awareness of the approximate 100 million shark deaths yearly in the shark fin trade
- And much more!
